Bloks
Bloks is an app on your computer. You hire agents, give each a job, and talk to them in the window, on the iPhone and Apple Watch app, in any browser with Bloks Cloud, or from Telegram, Signal, Slack, Discord, a WhatsApp group or email. Agents, conversations and memory are plain files in a folder you can open.

Instinct
Instinct is something you text or phone. It has a phone number and a computer of its own on Instinct's side, so there is nothing to install and it keeps working while your devices are off. A web workspace holds your settings and the accounts you connect. How it is hosted, and which models it uses, are not published.
Approvals, and what the terms say
BloksBetter
An agent in Bloks asks before it acts, unless you tell it not to, and you can write a rule in a sentence. In its browser, a password, a card number or a file upload always asks you. Its changes to your files can be undone, and consequential actions land in a signed log you can check.

Instinct
Instinct's terms treat the service as your agent, so what it agrees to binds you. They say the company may skip confirmations, that actions may not be reversible, and that safeguards are your responsibility. Sandboxing, how secrets are handled and any undo are not published.
Your data
BloksBetter
Bloks has no backend that holds your data. Conversations, memory and files stay on your computer, the app sends no analytics, and the few requests it makes on its own are listed in its README. The engine you choose has its own terms for what it sees.
Instinct
Instinct's privacy policy covers messages, email, documents, payment data, logins to other services, health data and location. Your data is used for training by default; opting out in settings applies only from then on, and data flagged for safety can still be used. Google Workspace data is not used for training. Disconnecting an account does not delete what was already indexed, though you can delete it in the web workspace. How long data is kept is not published.
Where Instinct is ahead
Bloks
Bloks has to be installed on a computer, and its agents pause when that computer is off, unless they run on a server of yours or on managed hosting. Its errands go through the agent's browser, its computer and the apps you connect.
InstinctBetter
Instinct needs nothing installed: you text or call. It reaches the physical world, with phone calls to book places that have no online booking, and it can coordinate with friends' agents in a group chat, friends without an account included. If that is the help you want, it is a real reason to ask for an invitation.
